Susan Chew was the daughter of Susannah Hancher & William Dickerson Chew. She married Nicholas Ford Sept. 25, 1823 in Richland County, Ohio and they had 7 children. She died, along with her two oldest sons from "Congestive Typhus Fever." Susan was a very industrious woman and came from a very respectable family.
