Grant Victor Williams

Grant Victor Williams, 90, passed away February 12, 2011 from causes incident to age.
He was born October 17, 1920 to Brigham Willard and Emily Harris Williams at Grace, Idaho. He served in the Central States LDS Mission from 1940-1942 and enlisted in the US Navy in 1943. He was an aerial gunner and photographer aboard the USS Randolph in World War II.
He married Ada Louise Cross on October 9, 1946 in the Salt Lake temple. He was an active LDS member and served as an officiator in the Logan temple, a counselor in the Grace Idaho Stake Presidency and as a Gospel Doctrine teacher. He loved ranching and was past president of both the Chesterfield Land and Livestock and the Idaho Citizens Grazing Associations for many years.
His wife, Ada, passed away July 16, 2005 and later married Earline M. Smith August 11, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Earline; sisters: Imogene (Jean) Nuttall of Cortez, Colorado; Lois Beers of Boise, Idaho; Marilyn McBride of Salt Lake City, Utah; brother, Doug (Carolyn) Williams of Pocatello, Idaho; brother-in-law, Keith Stoddard of Burley, Idaho; daughter, Margaret (Dick) Wooton of Limon, Colorado; and sons, Crae (Carol) Williams of Grace, Idaho, and Scott (Glenda) Williams of Providence, Utah; along with 12 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Harris and Blain; sisters: Fae Stoddard, Alleen Adams, and infant daughters: Susan and Diane.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 12:00 noon at the Grace Stake Center, 404 S. Main, Grace, Idaho Interment will be at the Grace Cemetery.
