Individual Details

Thomasine was born in Leverington, Cambridgeshire on August 11, 1560 and baptised there on February 1, 1562. Her parents were John and Joanna Strutt Belgrave. Thomasine married Edward Frost at Glemsford, Suffolk on July 26, 1585. Their first two children were born at Glemsford, and they moved to nearby Stanstead around 1589. They had six more children baptised at Stanstead. Edward was a clothier. He died in Stanstead in 1616, Thomasine must have survived him, for she is mentioned in his will, but no record has been found of her death. She probably died around 1620. She was sure to have been buried in the churchyard of St. James Church in Stanstead.
