"James Kidder came to Billerica in 1659. He was in command of the Indians at Warmesit during King Phillip's War. He was the ancestor of all the Kidders of America, who date their ancestry back to 1700. His house is standing in part and is occupies by a descendant, Mr. J. Nelson Parker. The name is extinct in Billerica"
