Roy F. Salway

Funeral services were held last Saturday at the Beebe Funeral Home for Roy F. Salway, 78, who died May 29 at the Coldwater Community health Center following a long illness.

Mr. Salway, a retired farmer and lifelong resident of Fayette Township, lived at 379 W. Chicago Road.

He was born in Fayette Township, July 29, 1889, the son of Hugo and Elizabeth Salway.

In 1916, he married Minnie Zachow. She died in 1938.

In 1952, he married Iva Byers who survives. Also surviving are one son, Hugh D. of Jonesville; one brother, Grant, of Jonesville; and several nieces and nephews.

The Rev. Carl B. Ausbury of Kalamazoo officiated and burial was in Sunset View Cemetery.
