Beverly, Richard Patrick Age 80, of Michigan Center, passed away at Henry Ford Allegiance CareLink of Jackson May 24, 2016. He is survived by his son, Greg (Angie) Beverly, special friends, Richard (Sandy) Dixon and Jo-Ann (Ralph) Harris. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Charmaine in 2015 after 54 years of marriage and his parents, Donald P. and Thelma L. (maiden-Dolph) Beverly. Richard retired after a 42 year career as a Gauge Setter/ Part Inspector at Aeroquip/Eaton Corporation, served the nation in the US Marine Corp Reserves and the Michigan National Guard, enjoyed travelling and was a long-time member of the United Auto Workers, Local 475 and the Jackson Free Methodist Church where he served on many committees and was active in visiting the homebound. Services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 11 am with Pastor Mark Murphy officiating. Encryptment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening 5-8 pm. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Jackson Free Methodist Church, 2829 Park Road, Jackson, Michigan 49203. Military Honors will be given by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team.
