Hiram Wilson 65 a well know resident of Clarendon dropped dead at 1030 Thursday evening in the Knickerbocker yard, on his way home. Apoplexy is believed to have caused his sudden death.His body was discovered shortly after by Mr Knickerbocker.He is survived by three daughters and one son: Mesdames Lewis Ballentine and Jack Ballentine both of Homer Mrs Finney of Union City and Roy Wilson of Clarendon.

HOMER- Mrs Ina (Wilson) Ballentine 91 of 110 W Everett St widow of Lewis Ballentine died Wednesday in LAkeview General Hospital in Battle Creek where she had been in failing health for 1 1/2 years.
Born in Fredonia Twp she came to Homer area as a young woman.
Surviving are sons, Dewayne Ballentine with whom she resided and Robert of Allen Park, Daughters, Mrs Harold (Louise) King, Mrs Floyd (Eleanor) Kline both of Homer ans sister Mrs John (Hazel ) Ballentine

COLDWATER- Banner O Wilson 81 of Girard Twp farmer, died Saturday evening at Maple Lawn Hospital after a long illness.
He was married Feb 14 1911 to Mable L Bates in Homer.
She died in June 1958.
They moved to Girard in 1936 from Homer.
He is survived by three Daughters, Mrs Helen Buys of battle creek, and Mrs Florence Root , Richmond Ind. and Mrs Marie Plettner of Coldwater a son Lester Wilson of Battle creek, a brother Roy of Union City , three sisters, Mrs Winnie Finney of Union City, Mrs Ina Ballentine and Mrs Hazel Ballentin both of Homer and seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Mrs Alexander Finney
UNION CITY-Mrs Winifred Leora Finney 89 of Union City a life long resident of this area and widow of Alexander Finney died late Saturday afternoon in a Battle Creek Hospital.
She had been in failing health for two years.
Mrs Finney was born on March 29 1876 in Burlington Twp daughter of Henry and Julia Wood -Wilson.
She was first married to George Finney who died on 3/6/1915, In April 1916, she was married to Alexander Finney, who died in November, 1947.
She is survived by a son and four daughters, by her first marriage, Harlo Finney of Battle Creek, and Mrs Richard (Pearl) Ivens , Mrs Goldie Haines, and Mrs Ferris (Leora) Mittenberger and Mrs Ann Forster, all of Battle Creek,
Also surviving are two children by her second marriage Clifford Finney and Mrs Wilbur (Dorothy) Miller both of Union City, 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs Ina Ballentine an Mrs Hazel Ballentine both of Homer.
