Mrs. Eugene Tatom
Word has been received here of the death of Mary Ann Wood Tatom, a native of Hampton, who died on Sunday, January 25 in Colorado Springs, Colo., where her husband, Capt. Eugene Tatom, USN, is stationed.
She was the daughter of the late Capt. W. A. Wood, Jr. and Mrs. Ann Coke Wood, of Gloucester Point.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Tatom is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Millard Wagnon, of Alexandria; one grandson, Millard Wagnon, III, a sister, Mrs. John Christian, of Charles City County; two brothers, W. A. Wood, III, of Virginia Beach and B. C. Wood, of Hampton.
Her remains have been placed in Abingdon Church Cemetery.
