ASHWORTH, HILDA, of Kalamazoo; formerly of Lincoln Park. Died August 7, 2000. She was born December 21, 1921, in Treorchy, Wales; the daughter of Samuel and Violet (Rose) Burrows. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Jack Ashworth on November 23, 1992. Surviving are 3 children: Dennis (Kathleen) Ashworth of Yakima, WA; Douglas Ashworth of Cadillac, MI; Lesley Ashworth of Kalamazoo; 2 grandchildren: Matthew and Meagan; a sister June Farmer of Brisbane, Australia; a sister-in-law Audrey "Peggy" (Ralph) Budden of Livonia, MI; beloved extra children: Chris Strom of Kalamazoo; Evert Hancock of Cadillac, MI. Memorial services will be held Friday 6pm at Betzler Funeral Home, Kalamazoo & Monday 2pm at St. Michael Episcopal Church, Lincoln Park. Memorials may be made to St. Michael Episcopal Church or charity of choice.
