Thomas Newhall

John was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth (Potter) Newhall of Lynn, Mass. He married Esther Bartram, June 18, 1677 in Lynn, Essex Co., Mass. 

He was called a Mason/Bricklayer, and was "generally known as John Newhall Tertius." He deeded, Dec. 24, 1734, to his only living son at the time, Jacob Newhall, all his real estate and homestead "where I lately dwelt with the dwelling house and all the other buildings standing thereon, containing 20 acres, etc. bounded on the county road, the Great River Bridge, the marsh of Thomas Witt, the marsh of John Newhall, and on Jenks' creek and Mower's Brook."
