David Emery Houser was born in Clinton Twp. Wayne Co., the first child of Violet Ann Emery and Andrew Jackson Houser. He farmed most of his life and also worked as a hardware salesman. He married Mary Ella Swartz and they had four children: Audrey Marie, Clinton Herald, Carl Cecil and Dale Russell. 
The grave marker is misspelled as "Emory Houser".
