Individual Details

Frances Caroline "Fannie" Wigley

(15 Jul 1893 - 2 Mar 1993)

Aunt Fannie, as she was affectionately called by many, was known for her quick wit, her sense of humor and her philosophy of living, but most of all her love for the Lod, which has been an inspiration for many. She became a widow in 1923 and continued to live in the old Phillips Estate in the Quito community on Clear Creek, doing her own housework and working in her yard and small garden into her 90's. She and her sister, Clara, founded the Assembly of God Church, which was located near her home on Clear Creek before it was moved to Flynn.
