Revisiting my information about the Matilda Greene in my family tree, I now have doubts about her information. I seem to have mixed her up with another person.

There is a Matilda Venison (L5YC-GVX), whose mother was Elizabeth Bushby, and who married a Mr. Price. The death certificate of Matilda V. Price at https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VGRD-RMX is probably hers, as is Find A Grave Memorial# 85491537. She married William J. Price in Belmont, Ohio on 17 Dec 1899. However, my Matilda Greene was living with her parents in Wingate, Durham, England at the 1901 census, so she could not be the same Matilda who married William J. Price in Ohio in 1899. Her parents were Charles Greene and Ellen Bushby. Ellen had a sister named Elizabeth Bushby born in 1854 who could possibly be the mother of Matilda Venison, but that is only speculation. There are two things that I know for certain about Matilda Greene. She was living in Durham, England with her mother and father in 1891, and with her mother and stepfather in 1901.

The photograph of Matilda Price that I added to Find A Grave Memorial# 85491537 is from my father's collection and is dated 1941. He identified her as his cousin Matilda Price and that she and the others in the group photo were all Bushby descendants.
