William L. ?Mr. Bill? Reeme, 92, 1574 Powder Branch Road, JohnsonCity, went to be with his Lord Thursday, June 12, 2008, at the JohnsonCity Medical Center Hospital.
A native of Louisiana, he was the son of the late William Levi ReemeSr. and Martha Day Reeme. ?Mr. Bill? owned and operated an electronicsand TV store in Sacramento, CA, for fifty-five years. He was of theMethodist faith and attended Oak Grove Christian Church. He was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his firstwife, Donnadeane Depew Reeme; two sisters, Mertis Almond and HelenJones; three step-children, Sandra Lyons Adams, Charles R. ?Bobby?Lyons and Judy Lyons Dale.
Survivors include his wife, Rhoda Townsend Reeme, of the home; threesons, Dana M. Reeme, Santa Monica, CA, Kevin D. Reeme and his wife,Joan, New Berlin, WI, and Rory-Sean D. Reeme, Sacramento, CA; astep-son, Richard S. Lyons and his wife, Sarah, Washington, D.C.; twograndchildren, Levi Reeme and Collin Reeme, both of New Berlin, WI; asister, Bonnie Matthews, Grand Rapids, MI; four sisters-in-law, MaryMosley, Virginia Hughes, Linda Killen and her husband, Ernest, all ofJohnson City, and Carolyn Shelley, Maryville, TN; and abrother-in-law, Billy Townsend and his wife, Reba, Elizabethton.Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial service for William L. ?Mr. Bill? Reeme will be conducted at7:00 P.M. Friday, June 20, 2008, in the Sunset Chapel ofHathaway-Percy Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Shannon, minister,officiating. Music will be under the direction of Mr. Edwin Taylor.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00-7:00P.M. on Friday prior to the service.
It was Mr. Reeme?s wishes to be cremated. Private inurnment at HappyValley Memorial Park will be held at a later date.
