He said: "I rememberGeorge Bacon who was born 14 Dec 1878/79 in Pittsford VT. He was theson of Samuel Bacon & Louise (or Lucy/Lois) Ariel. Samuel was born inCanada. He was the son of Nelson Bacon & Abbie Frenier. I have foundnothing on Nelson & Abbie in Brandon.
George Bacon died in 1941 at Hartford VT of Heart disease. For manyyears he was a Probation/Parole Officer for the State of VT. As Iremember him, he was a very pleasant person of very slight build. Br.Book A-322.
George had at least one sister, Elizabeth Bacon, Born 6 July 1880 Died6 Jan 1968, Ae 87-6-0 Rec. Br. A-392.
John Bacon, son of George & Daisy Churchill Bacon was born in RhodeIsland c 1910. Died 23 Dec 1979, Brandon VT -Heart disease. He wasmarried twice. 2nd to Gwen (Duclaw) Thompson of Brandon who survivesand resides in Brandon." In Vol. 7 of the bound book.

The marriage extract from vital records has his middle initial as "J"rather than "H". Also, 1880 Census has him as "J". Need to checkoriginal records.
