Jacob located his farm in Littleton on the south side of Harvard
Road near to the town line and adjoining that of Jonathan Adams, Heheld some of the minor town offices, and although he was not mentionedas having a pew place, we can preseume from the time Rev. BenjaminShattuck was settled April 1717, at "50 pounds in money, to beadvanced at 20 pounds per year until it reached 50 pounds," he did getis pew place in the meeting house at
Littleton. Jacob was of the second generation and is the direct
line leading to the Powers families in Michigan and Iowa.
