James was a member of the UMWofA Local 687.He died of a long lingering illness, Possibly Black Lung, given hisoccupation as a coal miner. James' obituary stated that he wassurvived by on sister Mrs. Mary (Moyle) Gibbinson of Farmonth,England, and a brother Richard Moyle of Helston,
England. Also surviving him were his wife Mahulda, three childrenLulu(Moyle) Gaerig Bell of Centralia, William M. Moyle of Freeburg, ILand Joseph E. Moyle of Fort Dade, FL. A copy of the obituaryoriginally published in The Freeburg Tribune is in the possesion ofLori A. Schneider.
Note that the gedcom did not list a son James born Feb. 1880, but hewas the only child in the 1880 census. Did he possibly die young andthat was why they named the twins both James? On review of the 1910census, it says that Mahulda was the mother of 6, 3 living, so thelist of children from the gedcom is probably wrong.
