But birth year was 1881, not 1887, according to 1900 census. Not likely either she or her mother would have been off by 6 years at that time.
Findagrave.com shows her as Lota McDowell Kline, but still has the 1887 birth year.
Note that when I found the marriage record transcription, it shows her estimate year of birth as 1884. Perhaps her husband thought she was younger than she really was.
