SIKESTON - Victor Dale ?Vic? McCoy, 83, died at 3:20 p.m. Sept. 26,2007, at Westridge Place in Sikeston.
Born July 23, 1924, in St. Charles, to the late Edward and Rose BarrenMcCoy, he was a U.S. Army veteran who served in World War II. He hadbeen a bookkeeper at the Scott-New Madrid-Mississippi County RuralElectric Co-op; had been the general manager at the Petit Jean RuralElectric Co-op in Clinton, Ala.; and had also been employed by the REAin Fayette and Mt. Vernon. He was a longtime member of the TannerStreet Church of God.
On Dec. 5, 1953, in Crowder, he married Ruby Evelyn Burns who precededhim in death on April 7, 2007.
Three brothers also preceded him in death.
Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and SharonDuncan of Sikeston and Edward and Dorene McCoy of Cape Coral, Fla.;three daughters and one son-in-law, Kathy and Jim Peery of N. KansasCity, Carol Lee Isnor of Morehouse and Ruth Ellen Zercher of CapeCoral; two brothers, Charles McCoy of St. Charles and Dean McCoy ofTroy; and 12 grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Nunnelee FuneralChapel. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at theTanner Street Church of God. The Rev. Carl Addison, pastor, willofficiate.
Burial with full military rites conducted by the Missouri MilitaryFuneral Guard will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
