Ralph Landers, 79, died today at his home, 2504 N. Hollywood, following an extended illness. He was born in Randolph County, grew up in Ridgeville, later lived in Anderson before coming to Muncie in 1971.
Mr. Landers was employed at W.R. Duncan and Sons Contractors in Anderson for about 20 years prior to his retirement. Prior to that he had been employed by Anchor-Hocking Glass Factory in Winchester.
He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Howard (Evelyn) Wine, Muncie; his son, Eldon L. Landers, MacClenny, Fla.; seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and a brother Russell Landers, Paoli.
His wife, Loretta "Marie" Landers, died in 1981.
Services are pending at Meeks Mortuary.
