Lorraine Brock, a teachers assistant for 15 years with Mt. Diablo Unified School District, died in Concord. She was 72.
The native of Tulare lived in Walnut Creek prior to moving to Concord 24 years ago. She taught Bible study for several years at her church.
Affiliations and hobbies: St. John's Episcopal Church, Order of Eastern Star and Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem; needlecraft,piano and singing.
Survivors: Husband of 44 years, Gerald; sons, Gerald Brock III of Newark and Charles Brock of Sacramento; and four grandchildren.
Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Episcopal Church in Clayton with burial at Oakmont Cemetery in Lafayette. Visitation from 2-9 p.m.with 7:30 p.m. Eastern Star service today at Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel.
Memorial gifts: Eastern Star Al Mona Chapter or White Shrine of Jerusalem, both c/o Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel, 4125 Clayton Road, Concord, CA 94521.
