"Harley E. Keas, 67, Loveland Resident, Dies
Harley E. Keas, 67, of 610 Roosevelt died suddenly this morning atLoveland Memorial Hospital.
He was born December 23, 1894, at Plainville, Kan., the son of Hiramand Sadie Keas. He was married to Vera Rosenburg at Stockton, Kan.,Oct. 11, 1916. They made their home in Plainville until 1926, whenthey moved to Loveland. Keas was a mechanic for both the city and thecounty for a number of years, later becoming custodian for the schoolsystem for 13 years. Recently he had been employed at Scientific RadioProducts and at Hewlitt[sic]-Packard. Mrs. and Mrs. Keas have operatedthe Home Flower shop for the past 12 years.
He is survived by his wife, Vera; one daughter, Mrs. Marian Mull [sic]of Englewood; two sisters, Mrs. Inez Wilson, of Plainville, Kan., andMrs. Hazel Eads of Meade, Kan.; three brothers, Chester Keas ofStockton, Kan., Bill Keas of Plainville, Kan., and Elmer Keas ofCodell, Kan., and two grandchildren. His parents and one sister, Mrs.Bertha Phelps, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, from Hunters'Garden chapel."
