(Abt 1770 - UNKNOWN)
1830, Ridgeville, Clear Creek Twp., Warren Co., OH: William Johnson, head:
1 m 90-100 (written in 93) (1730-1740)
1 m 40-50 (1780-1790) [William]
1 f 40-50
1 f 20-30 (1800-1810) [Rebecca]
1 m 10-15 (1815-1820)
1 f 10-15
1 f 5-10 (1820-1825)
NOTE: James Johnson is 6 houses away. In addition, James Johnson and Alexander Johnson were both in the same township. In tax lists, James owned real estate and Alexander didn't.
I believe it was Donnadeane who said Rebecca's father was William. After reviewing tax records from Warren Co., Ohio, there is a good possibility the man who was in Ridgeville in 1830 is the right William. He didn't own property, but was the only William Johnson in the county and he first appeared in tax lists in 1827 and disappeared after 1830 tax list. For the sake of ease, I am including the verified information for that William Johnson as if he is Rebecca's father. It is possible that James and Alexander are relatives of Rebecca - at least they are the only Johnsons in the same township. 1840 census for a William in Warren Co. led me to a findagrave site that has one William and one James as brothers, and of an age to be possible brothers of William, but listing on the write-up doesn't support this William as being in that family.
