Fidler Lore says: "About 1835, teacher William Jacques walked to the home of his Jordan relatives one evening for a visit. They owned stills. Leaving their home late, he fell from a foot bridge over a deep-bedded narrow rushing stream. Dressed in the fashion of his day, he was wearing a long cape with attached hood. In falling, the hood covered his face, and his arms became entangled in the folds of his cape. He fell into the water face down and could not free himself. His body was found next morning. He was born Kilkenny, Ireland." Unverified.
