The birth cert for Dessie shows parents David Adams and Mary A. Adams, his occupation laborer. Was the "Doc" shown on the marriage certificate a nickname or is this a different couple?
Note that if David and Mollie both died before 1878, then Dessie could not have been their child. Where did the death dates come from?
