RITES PENDING FOR MRS. MINCER
Mrs. Mary Belle Mincer, 83, of Searsboro died Wendesday morning at Grinnell General Hospital after a three-day stay.
The daughter of W.W. and Lillian Farmer McFarlin, she was born Oct. 29, 1888, in Poweshiek County.
Survivors include her husband Earl; two sons, Lloyd of Lakewood, Calif., and Kenneth of Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. L.W. Stehn of Des Moines.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, and one sister.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mincer are pending at the Hardin Funeral Home in New Sharon.
NOTE: The paper was published on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 1972, so it was unclear whether she had died that same morning or the week before. It is unknown if the paper was a daily or a weekly.
