Not proven at this point that the Francis A. Duncan who married MaryIngold is this one, but the birth date shown in 1900 census matches.Also, marriage records also show a Sylvester Duncan marrying in thatcounty and Francis had an uncle Sylvester. Death cert found at SOSMissouri website and it shows his birth as St. Clair Co. and hisfather as S. Duncan. Other info for parents was unknown. That seems tosupport the connection.
Note that death cert says he was born 11 Apr 1859, but he didn'tappear in the 1860 census and that was effective in June. He waslisted as age 10 in 1870, so he was probably born 1861.
