Austin had this: "Note that Josiah Paine, town clerk and historian ofHarwich, wrote that Nicholas and Constance had a dau. named for hermother who was the first wife of Daniel Doane of Eastham; Daniel wasb. prob. Plymouth ca. 1636; d. Eastham 20 Dec 1712 in 76th yr., andhad the following ten Doane children: Joseph, Constant (son), Israel,Daniel, Nathaniel, Constant (dau.), Rebecca, Abigail, Ruth andHepzibah; Danniel's first wife was undoubtedly the mother of all ofthe children except Hepzibah."
This doesn't indicate if Constance was the first or second wife, orwhat the other wife's name was or dates. Have listed them all asConstance's.
