On Sep 22, 2005, Pam Olsen sent me an email with pages of the Historyof Hancock County, IL, cover and pp 611, 612, attached. This history,in the narrative, indicates that Nancy J Crow was deceased when thechildren of her parents are listed. The book was published in 1880,which impies that Nancy J. Crow died before 1880, rather than the 1916date listed. Apparently other researchers also have the 1916 date. Fornow, I will leave the 1916 date, pending more definite information onher death date. I have saved the emails from Pam, and the copies ofthe History of Hancock Co. under OsborneMisc/Bean.
NOTE: I have searched the state of Missouri death certificates onlineas of 28 Feb 2007 and there is no Nancy of any surname died in August1916 in Lewis County. The date this gedcom had was 1 Aug 1916 atGregory Landing, Lewis Co., MO - I have removed that.
