Alexander CAIRNS

(1837 - 1838 - 1873)

Died in a house fire allegedly started by Henry Delong, (Rebecca's brother) who was supposed to have been hanged (lynched) somewhere in Illinois, according to Chris Cairns. [NOTE: It has been found that Henry was not lynched and he went to Tulare Co., CA, as did his sister Martha. See Henry's notes for a transcript of a newspaper article about the fire.]
