According to Wikipedia, Nevis is a small island in the Caribbean Sea that forms part of the inner arc of the Leeward Islands chain of the West Indies. A google search shows no town by that name in Massachusetts. Edmund's place of death comes from The Great Migration bio on Richard Brown. A deed on 4 March 1677/8 "settled the estates of Giles Badger and Richard Browne on the occasion of the death of Richard's son, Edmond, at Nevis."
