"A Tulare county woman, Mrs. Gertrude Worthley, 59, Dinuba, was killedin a Kings county accident four miles east of Hanford yesterday.
Four other persons were injured.
Her husband, Randolph Worthley, driver of one of the cars, suffered apossible broken neck, concussion and other head injuries.
J. M. York, 50, Santer, a passenger in the other car, received acompound fracture of the leg, a fractured arm, chest injuries andshock. York was pinned in the car and a door had to be removed to gethim out.
Leroy M. James, 40, Sanger, head of Caliofornia Homes, a low costhousing concern, was driver of the second car. He and Dan Gillis, LosAngeles, another passenger, were also injured."
