All of the following has been discredited by Jim White. Without sources for either surname, I will leave these notes. But it does seem that Mr. White is likely to have the correct information.
From the estimated date of her birth, it seems unlikely she is actually a daughter in this Boone family. Her mother would have been in mid-40s and giving birth for 30 years.

Persis Boone was born circa 1685 in Stoke Canon, Berkshire, England.1 She married George Henton circa 1715. According to conflicting evidence, she married George Henton circa 1719.1 Persis died after 1747 in Berks Co., Pennsylvania.1
Persis arrived in the Colonies on September 29, or October 10, 1717. From Boone Family History information, published in "Philadelphia Perimeter" (WWW media) - "The ship carrying Squire Boone from England arrived on September 29, 1717 (presumeably, Persis Boone was on the same ship with Squire Boone). . In our opinion, these dates should be reported, based upon the calendar system in use at the time (i.e., if Persis Boone thought she arrived on September 29, 1717 - then that is the date which we should use - along with a notation that she was using the Julian calendar time-line). Similarly, if the date of Embarkation from Bristol was August 17, 1717 (Gregorian); then we should make record of the date as August 6, 1717 (Julian)."1
