"Pioneer of State Dies This Morning -
Mrs. Elizabeth Easter Carter Delong, 85, a resident of California since 1873, died at Exeter this morning. She was a resident of the Three Rivers district.
She is the mother of Frank Carter of Three Rivers, Mrs. Elora C. Jones of Lemon Cove, Congressman A. E. Carter of Oakland, Mrs. W. Byron Allen, A. D. Carter and Floyd Carter of Visalia. Six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral arrangements will be announced tomorrow by the Hadley funeral parlors pending arrival of her children here tomorrow morning."
