"WALTON - Ray Widner, 68, died in his home at Onward at 12:50 a.m.Friday following an extended illness.
Born near Walton, Nov. 19, 1902, he was the son of Theodore and Flora(Scott) Widner.
He was a member of the Onward Christian Church and had been acarpenter.
On Nov. 29, 1923 he was married to Ruth McDowell, who survives withfive sisters, Mrs. Mae Beckley, Walton; Mrs. Nellie Lake, Kokomo R.R.;Mrs. Donna Shedron, Brown County; Mrs. Ruth Schmidt, Peru, and Mrs.May Conner, Walton. Two sisters are deceased.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in the Onward ChristianChurch with the Rev. Clifton Burton officiating.
Friends may call at the Wolf Funeral Home here after noon Saturday andat the church one hour preceding the services."
