"Gordon Weisenberger
Service will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Myers Chapel for Gordon LouisWeisenberger. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. The Rev.Robert G. Keller of First United Methodist Church will officiate.
Weisenberger, 65, was born inTerra Bella and was a lifetime residentof Porterville. He was a contruction operating engineer for 36 years.
He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 12, Bakersfield, andPoplar United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, LaVerna of Porterville; three sons, Elzaof Porterville, Louis of Exeter and Larry of Seattle, one daughter,Lora Riggan of Bakersfield, three brothers, Harold of Porterville,Byron of Salinas and Warren of Bakersfield; one sister, Alice Millerof Oakland, and 10 grandchildren.
The family suggests remembrances be in the form on contributions tothe American Cancer Society, in care of Clareretta Dress Shop, or tothe prayer room fund at Sierra View District Hospital."
