BARTONVILLE - Stephan Lewis Weiman, 72, of 4117 S. Ricketts died at7:28 a.m. Monday, Nov. 20, 2000, in the emergency room at MethodistMedical Center in Peoria.
Born March 26, 1928, in Peoria to George and Lillian Weaver Weiman, hemarried Joanne Standerfer on Oct. 22, 1949, in Bartonville. Shesurvives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Sallie (and Charles) Tindall andSusan (and David) Ledeboer, both of Mapleton; one son, Erik ofBartonville; three brothers, Wallace (and Maxine), Richard and David,all of Peoria; and six grandchildren.
A World War II Army veteran, he was a member of American Legion Post979.
He worked for Keystone Steel & Wire Co. for 13 years. He later was anelectrician working out of International Brotherhood of ElectricalWorkers Local 34 for 25 years, retiring in 1993.
He was a life member of Bartonville United Methodist Church, where hesang in the choir for many years.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at his church, wherefamily will receive friends 30 minutes before. The Rev. Bruce Gordonwill officiate. Cremation has been accorded. Davison-FultonBartonville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to his church.
