Birthplace hard toread on census image at Genealogylibrary.com, but may be Can. -presumably Canada. Later looked at image on Ancestry.com - is "Con",so Connecticut. There is another entry on same page that is writtenout "Canada". Two more children on 1850 census - names and ages hardto read on copy. Can read most at Ancestry. Augustus, Martha andEleanor. Can't read Eleanor's middle initial.
Dallas Patee as published in Los Tulares, Dec., 1999, says there wereten children, including twins Thomas and John who were born 4 Jul 1839and lived only 3 weeks and Mary Ellen, born 10 Jan 1842, who livedonly 4 days. She cites the 1867 family bible. My list of children camefrom Anna and didn't include those 3 children.
