This Eight Day of December anno Domini one thousand seven hundred &fifty two I Nathaniel Sheffield of Holliston in the County of Middlesex & province of the Massachusetts Bay in New England yeoman Being aged and in a weak and infirm in body But of perfect mind & memory thanks be given to God ____ for & calling to mind the mortality of my body knowing __it is appointed for all men once to Die Do make &ordain This my Last will and testament that is to say Principally _______ of all I give in Recommending my Soul into the hands of God that gave it and my body I commit to the Earth to be buried in Decent _____and manner at the direction of my Executor here in after named ____ing doubting but at the ______tion I shall R____ the same again by the mighty power of God and touching (?) such worthy _____ where with it hath pleased God to _____ _____ life I Give Devise and Dispose of the Same in manner as follows.

I give and bequeath unto my Truly and well be Loved wife Mary ________ about ___ acres of land in the old field so called bounded as followeth __sterlt on Bogg_____ Brook Northerly on Ezra Daniels Land Easterly on the Lot I had of my Sister (?) Susanah Hall and Southerly on the old Highway to her and at her [? ? last 5 words], disposing forever. Further my will and pleasure is to give unto my beloved wife all my _______ Estate ____ __ ______ my house(?) of every ____ and my stock of creatures with out all my money in hand and what is coming unto me or falls unto me in my brother Joseph Sheffield Deceased estate __ ___ _____ or potion to, __ has _________ Clear for ____ to be _____ of as the will and further give unto my kind and loving wife the one half of my home place having given unto my son Nathaniel Sheffield j___ a deed of one half of my home place and have bound the whole by the ____ ______ prescribed and the one half is my sons and the other half my wife's to be disposed of as she think fit for Ever.

My will and pleasure is to give a _________ __ ____ in _____ ___ ___so called that ____ my sister J__miah _____ unto my three children Viz my son Nathaniel Sheffield Jun'r and Mary Partridge and Rachel Partridge to each one of them a third part of sd Lott to be divided unto them or their children in equal shares to their heirs and assigns for ever in fee simple.
I give unto my Loving Son Nathaniel Sheffield jun'r a small strip of land that Brother Joseph Sheffield had _____ in in his Life time along by his house on the South line(?) of his land to be his free and clear for Ever in fee simple.

I further give unto my beloved and kind wife all my Shares and Rights of Lands that falls unto me in my brother Joseph Sheffield's Est to me and my sister Hannah Partridge She having convayed her right and share unto me free and clear for Ever and it be d_______ free and clear to dispose (?) as she think best___ [last line on page is mostly illegible.]. and to bury her decently in a Christian manner and having given unto my two Daughters viz Mary Partridge & Rachel Partridge Land by Deed in part of their potion I do give the mand each of them a peace of Land Lying between the Land that I have alredy given them and the Land I have given John Sheffield So called als [sic] that peace of Land be it more or less to be Equally Devided to my two daughters in Equal halves to them and Each of them and to Each of their Heirs and assigns for Ever free and clear..
And my will and desire that a peace of wood land I have ajoining to John Ar____ land in Holliston be sold to pay my just Debts that I owe.

My wish is that ___ ______ of my son Nathaniel Sheffield is bound by____ and _____age my f_____ and Do_____ in one half of the produce to one and my wife and __ bond.(?) Cary_ it to Hours (house?) I would have to Bond given up to my don again after my Death. And it is my wish ___ Lawful ____ be paid out of my estate and where __ __ by _____will [1.5 lines are lined out here and something else written in above ? not legible]. Brother Joseph Sheffield , Deceased I have already paid _____ estate again and for ___ R___on the Estat hath no____ on me or ____ and I do hereby Co_______ ordain and appoint Jacob______ and my son Nathaniel Sheffield jun'r Both of Holliston to be my sole Executors of this my Last will and testament Ratifying and confirming of this and no other to be my Last will Revoking every former will and testament whatsoever to be void and confirming of this to be my wish [following is dark and illegible] sealing ordering and______ing of this to be my last will and testament,
