Evelyn Byrd McCoy

Mrs. Evelyn Bird McCoy Holloway, 69 years old, died yesterday at her home, 3619 the Paseo. She was the widow of James M. Holloway, who died several years ago (He died March 5, 1917>) Mrs. Holloway was a daughter of John Calvin McCoy, a pioneer resident of Kansas City and one of the founders of the Central Presbyterian Church. She was born at his old country place, Woodside, which then was located at the present corner of Linwood boulevard and Olive streets. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. A.J. A. Alexander, Woodbury Ky., and Mrs. W.K. Woods, St. Louis, MO. Funeral services will be held at the Central Presbyterian church at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Burial will take place in the family lot in Union cemetery.
