Mr and Mrs Charles B Palmer of Kendall Dr. celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Wednesday at a reception held in the Eastwood United Methodist Church. They were married in Old Mission, the birthplace of Mrs. Palmer, the former Vila D. Brimmer. Palmer was born in Traverse City, where they lived until 1941 when they moved to the Flint area.

He was a carpenter for 45 years and retired in 1959. They have tne children, Charles A. of Flint, Niles A. of Reese, Ramon of Conifer, Colo., Douglas, Richard and Dale, all of Flint, Mrs. William Cromwell ofDurand, Mrs. Carl Keel of Davison, Mrs. Edward Johnson of Lapeer and Mrs. Myron Christenson of Davison. They also have 59 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
