Death
Obituary: Orla W Peterson. Frankfort-Orla W Peterson, 92, a farmer from Frakfort, died March 22 at Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital in Frankfort after a long illness. A lifetime resident of Benzie County, he was member of th Thompsonville Odd Fellows Lodge. Born in Benzie County on Feb 28 1897, he was the son of Willis and Addie (Gibbs) Peterson. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Barbara White; a sister, Elvira Peterson; and a brother, Willard Peterson. Surviving are two daughters, Dorothy Mendenhal of Fort Meyers, Fla., and Harriet Mineo of Milwaukee, Wis.; a son, William L. Peterson of Mason, Iowa; a brother, Dwight Peterson of Frankfort; and 12 grandchildren and 11 great-greatchildren.Spring graveside services will be held at Joyfield Township Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by the Bennett- Jonkhoff Funderal (sic) Home in Beulah.
