That Gustav is the son of Ludwig is NOT proven. Ludwig's Great Grandson, Bertrand Wright referred to Gus's wife Louisa as "Aunt Louise"and Albert (Ludwig's son) and Louise (Gus's wife) were sponsors to Bertrand's baptism and lastly, a bible presumed to have belonged to Hulda (Katschke) Hellwig, Ludwig's daughter, contains the birth and death information of Gustav(See Ref:R3122).
