John Huber

John Huber went to Franklin Co., between
1770 and 1780 and was among the first to open his home to the
early United Brethren preachers. His descendants are the only
branch of the Hans-Huber clan that retain the original spelling of
the name "Huber." The others have changed to "Hoover."
