Mayor Faces Two Charges.
Canton, O., Dec. 13.—Mayor Charles
Stands of "Wayensburg "will be placed
on trial in probate court tomorrow
on two informations, one charging intoxication
and the other the shooting
of firearms in the yard of a dwelling.
Since the alleged misdemeanors occurred
Stands was re-elected mayor
of Waynesburg. His friends claim
these charges are the result of spitework.
