David Franklin Pugh

Served in the Civil War but was under Age when enlisted on Oct 18 1861 into the 46th OVI, The 46th was organized by Thomas Worthington. David saw many battles, was in Sherman's "March to the Sea", was wounded twice and discharged on Jul 22 1865.
He attended Ohio State University passed the Bar exam and began his legal and political career in West Virginia.. He and his family moved to Columbus Ohio and was first appointed to Court of Common Pleas and then elected.
The Radnor Museum has a large number of books from his and daughter Belle's Library.
