Thomas Davids

(1761 - 5 Sep 1810)

Thomas, Isabel William and Sylvantus migrated from Wales to Pennsylvania in 1803. Some how Thomas knew Samuel Jones as he is one that Samuel set aside land in the deed he gave to David Pugh for 4000 acres. Thomas did not travel to Radnor until Jul of 1805 but received lot 5 of tier 3. Thomas died in 1810, his widow re married to Evan Jenkins. The lot was retained in the 2nd marriage until Evan Jenkins death in 1824.. This lot was purchased by Edward Evans who farmed it until 1833 when he surveyed it for the village of Delhi.
It appears that Even Jenkins. his 1st wife and their daughter Magdelena were traveling with Thomas and Isabel and their sons as the families received their land on the same day, July 9 1805. later Thomas and Isabel's son, William, married Evan and his 1st wife's daughter, Magdelena, so the families were combined in that marriage,
