Benjamin and Mehitable had at least 10 children. Their deaths are recorded in Sturbridge. Mehitable died in 1771 and Benjamin remarried to the widow of Ebenezer Sanderson Mehitable's brother. He was buried in the Old Burial Ground in Sturbridge.
