I have been working on the Norman family history, which intersects with the Glaze and Prather families. I question that Joseph Prather, Husband of Elizabeth Glaze died in 1870. I found a Joseph Prather, and wife Elizabeth in the 1870 Census, both born in Georgia, living in Ward 2, Homer Post Office, Claiborne [Parish], Louisiana roll M593_510, page 31, image 63. The census form is dated 10 August 1870, and shows that members of their household were born in Georgia and Alabama. I believe this is the same Joseph and Elizabeth Prather which I found in the 1860 census living in Southern District, Chambers County, Alabama, roll M653_4, page 950.
