His military decorations included the Legion of Merit, Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal with eight Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Force Commendation Medal, Presidential Unit Citation emblem and the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award ribbon.
